- Grown in Zambia's Northern Province, in volcanic soils at high altitudes
- Produced from trees of the Bourbon and Catimor varieties of Arabica
- Natural, sun-dried process
How It's Processed:- The ripest shade-grown coffee cherries are chosen at the mill.
- The chosen coffee cherries are sun-dried on raised African beds for 12-15 days.
- During their time on the beds, the coffee cherries are raked and turned periodically during the day to ensure a consistent drying process. They are covered during high sun times - 12pm-3pm - to protect them from sun damage. They are covered again after sundown to protect them from rainfall and moisture.
- Once dried, the coffee is milled, graded, sorted, and handpicked before being bagged in GrainPro for export.
