Opteka VL600 Lighting Wand
The Opteka VL600 is a dimmable, 5,600k / 3200K LED source unlike any you've ever seen. The first thing that occurs to you as work with it is that it resembles a 22" lightsaber, or perhaps "wand" is more appropriate given the soft light magic that the light conjures. Hold it as close as you want to your subject; the closer you get the more the VL600's quality of light becomes evident. Since it's virtually heat-free you never have to worry about injuring the talent or damaging the set.
The VL600's cutting-edge technology includes the latest Lithium ion battery technology. The 2100mAh battery is housed in a lightweight 1.9 lb. design and can run for 3 hours at full power after a 2.5 hour chage.
This Handheld LED daylight light source offers the ability to shoot and light in tandem without the need of heavy light stands or additional mounting systems. While the ergonomic shape easily lends to handheld operation, there's a 1/4"-20 tap at one end and a hook on the other to mount the VL600 to a light stand or other accessory.
The LED array combined with the diffused front face offers an extremely soft and evenly wrap-around light source.The lamps rated for over 50,000 hours of use and are true daylight color. A CTO panel is provided for balancing tungsten light sources with the simple twist of a wrist

Mount to light stands, tripod, or anything with a 1/4" thread for precise placement of your lighting angles. A complimentary hook in included for when you need the extra reach.
