Photoelectric Technology: Ardwolf smoke alarms with photoelectric technology which is optimized to detect slow smoldering fires which generate light smoke, little heat and may smolder for hours before bursting into flames.

Battery-Powered: This Fire detector is powered by one 9V battery(included), it will not be affected by power outage. When an intermittent \"chirp\" accompanied by a red LED flash every 32 seconds indicates a low battery.

10 Years Life Time: UL Listed Battery-Powered, low power consumption, service live about 10 years. NOTE: Please test it once a month and clean up the dust on the alarm every 6 months to ensure the smoke alarm works properly.

Sound & LED Warning: When the fire alarm detects smoke or detect combustion particles in the air it will sound their alarms and the red LED will flash rapidly. The LED light and alarm will continue until the air is cleared or the test button is released.

Installation Notes：

1. Turn the alarm body counterclockwise and take off the bracket.

2. Hold the bracket in the installation position as specified in the Recommended Locations, mark installation holes of the bracket with a pencil.

3. Drill the two marked installation holes with a 3/16 inch (5mm) drill bit. Tap the two plastic grommets into holes with a hammer.

4. Mount the bracket to the ceiling by inserting and tightening the supplied screws into plastic grommets.

5. Connect the battery to the power connector.

6. Fix the battery into the battery box.

7. Fit the alarm on the bracket and turn the alarm body clockwise, until fully inserted into the bracket.
