Construction is solid and sturdy: a combination of hardwood, plywood and MDF for the frame is enhanced with foam padding and completed with dark wood legs. Included with purchase of this king-sized platform bed are wooden slats, which eliminate the need for a box spring. The Malaysian-made contemporary bed requires assembly and should be spot cleaned.
