Headlights are one of the most wear and tear prone areas on your vehicle. Adam's Headlight Restoration Kit provides you with all of the chemicals, polishes, towels, and pads you need to completely restore your vehicles headlights back to brand new, factory quality. This kit restores oxidized, hazy, yellow headlights back to a clear finish. Each kit comes with a backing plate designed to be used with a handheld drill so you can effectively remove, restore, and polish your headlights back to a perfect shine. Ensure the headlight lens are clean before starting the polishing process. Mist a small amount of Detail Spray onto the lens and wipe clean with a Gray Utility Towel. Apply 3-4 drops of Heavy Correcting Compound onto the Blue Microfiber Cutting Pad. Using light pressure to control the drill, power on the drill on a high speed setting, and slowly work the compound/polish into the lens in up/down and left/right motions, several passes in each direction. It is crucial to monitor pad and headlight temperature during the polishing process so that you do not burn the headlight lens or cause any discoloration from too much heat. Follow up by using the microfiber cutting pads using the same process as before. Wipe away the residue with the Gray Utility Towel. Finally, finish up with the finishing polish and finishing polish pad to brighten and shine your lens back to perfection.
