How to use Cacao Nibs, Beans or Powder:

Indus Organics Cacao Nibs is chocolate in its purest form. They are a rich source of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. It contains magnesium and promotes healthy heart. Magnesium increases heart strength and improves its condition. 
Cacao beans, best known as cocoa beans grows only in moist, warm and shady climates. They are primarily grown in Africa, Asia and, Central and South America. These beans are produced by the plant Theobroma cacao, which translated, means "food of the Gods". That is a good name for them, given the numerous health benefits provided by them.

They are carefully hand harvested in the Andes region of Peru.

How to Use?

They can be powdered at home for coffee, baking and other delicacies. Cacao nibs have a deep dark chocolate flavor, great to use in yogurt, granola, cereal, fruit and ice cream. They are also great to enjoy straight from the bag!

Cacao Nibs or Powder Bites

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • 1 medium ripe avocado
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract 
  • 1/4 cup Indus Organics cacao nibs or powder
  • 1 cup quick or old-fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup cacao nibs
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Mash bananas, avocado, coconut oil and vanilla extract. Add remaining ingredients and mix until smooth.
  2. Roll dough into golf size balls. Enjoy chilled or thawed.  

Cacao Nibs or Powder Hot Chocolate

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ cups almond milk
  • ¼ cup Indus Organics cocoa nibs or powder
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • ½ tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tsp. maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Mix all ingredients apart from the maple syrup and vanilla extract in a small pot on medium heat.
  2. Whisk until the hot chocolate starts to simmer and cocoa nibs or powder dissolve, and then stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract. Taste and adjust sweetness as you like.

Cacao Nibs or Powder Lucuma Chocolate

INGREDIENTS

  • Half a cup of cocoa butter (65 grams approx.)
  • 50 grams Indus Organics cacao nibs or powder
  • 50 grams coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp Indus Organics lucuma powder
  • Walnuts to taste
  • Maple syrup to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:  
  1. Cut the cacao butter and place in a bowl over a pan of warm water, with the coconut oil to melt. 
  2. When fully melted, add the cacao nibs or powder and the lucuma powder and beat with a fork to make it smooth. 
  3. Add maple syrup to taste.
  4. Add walnuts to taste. 
  5. Prepare a loaf pan by lining with greaseproof paper. 
  6. Pour the chocolate into the tin and put in the fridge to set. In about one hour you can enjoy delicious homemade chocolate!
