The electrodes are self-adhesive with a protective layer of gel built in to prevent skin irritation or burning. Usually four electrodes (two pairs) are used to get maximum benefit from this treatment although two electrodes can also be used and in many cases provide sufficient relief. |

ActiveFit Pro works by delivering small bio-electrical nerve stimulation pulses through the skin to the nerve endings in the affected area, blocking the pain signals from travelling to the brain. This signal blocking is similar to how most pain medications work but without the need to ingest chemicals.
