Why advertise as 16GB and only get 14.8GB?

It say 16GB as it mean 16 trillion byte. It have to divide this by 1024(which is a true kilobyte), then again to get megabytes, and again to get gigabytes. It then works out at 14.8GB as far as technology is concerned. But it is 16GB as far as for sell is concerned.
