About Rapid Release Base Coat

Rapid Release's unique patent-pending polymers allow this innovative film to protect the natural nail in the removal process of a gel polish coating. This film safeguards the nails from damage typically found with traditional gels when they are soaked, filed or scraped off by salons or picked off by home users.

Tech Tips

ColorMe's innovative, patent-pending Rapid Release Base Coat is the key to transforming any gel manicure into a peelable manicure for gentle removal.
Rapid Release Base Coat can be used with any traditional color gel polish.
Don’t skip buffing...the better you buff, the better the polish will adhere!
Be careful not to apply Rapid Release Base Coat directly to the nail’s edges, as you will get a longer wear if the color gel polish can grip the nails edge.
Try to complete the color application in 3 strokes: First brush down the middle, then brush along the sides.
Try not to brush onto the cuticle. Place loaded brush down before the cuticle (approx. 2mm), then push the brush forward towards the cuticle, stopping short just before the cuticle edge.
For best curing results, be sure to align your nails under the light diode. When curing thumbs, keep your thumb along the inner edge of the lamp for optimal light exposure. To cure thumbs in a comfortable position, pick up the lamp or bring to edge of the table.
Wiping off the tacky layer until it makes a “squeaky” clean sound will result in higher shine.
