1. Turn off your car and allow your engine to cool down completely before doing the replacement
2. Remove the bolts and the reservoir, but do not remove the coolant hose first
3. Wrap a cloth around the hose before disconnecting it and allow the remaining coolant flowing back into the drain pan
4. Take out the damaged reservoir and drain the coolant off. Make sure to pour the fluid into a secure container and properly dispose it, as it is toxic
5. Reinstall the coolant hose to the radiator and tighten the clamp
6. Connect the other end of the coolant hose to the new coolant reservoir and tighten the mounting bolts
7. Refill the tank with new coolant and run the engine to check if function well
