These products, when used appropriately do not allow for ice to adhere to the surface. Whether it is a roof, gutters, your downspout or new concrete on your driveway, these products can be used for pretreating surfaces before a storm or managing them after. With correct usage and application they also both require much fewer applications than your normal ice melt chloride based options.
