The Shell RIDE SR-5S is a well-built premium electric scooter with a dual braking system. At 30 lbs, and foldable, it is portable. Yet, the robust build offers a max load of 220 lbs.
Enjoy an exhilarating ride at up to 15.5 mph while you cruise up to 18 miles between charges. On longer journeys, set the cruise control for the long journey. When you do need to charge the Li-Ion battery, it only takes 5 hours. The SR-5S has 350 watts max power and 500 watts of torque (14.75 ft lbs) via a 36V / 7.8 Ah Li-Ion battery (LG cells).
The dual braking system is comprised of a rear disc brake and an electrical brake up front. Feel confident in your ability to stop or slow down quickly and safely when needed. The rapid charge Li-Ion battery and electronics are located in the deck which reduces the center of gravity for a safer more steady ride. The unique pivot, lock folding mechanism greatly reduces steering play by forming a robust joint between the handlebars and front fork.
The LED dash panel displays speed, battery level, and ride mode options. Choose from low, ECO and sport modes. The 8.5" semi-pneumatic "no flat" tires are maintenance free. The SR-5S comes with a Helmet Discount Coupon.
