The 40-6001 not only enables you to calculate length, area, and volume but offers three indirect measuring modes based on the Pythagorean theorem. For instance, if you're looking at a wall, using the tool, you could measure the distance to the bottom of the wall and the top of the wall to instantly calculate the height of that wall.
