Put out big fires. Rescue kittens from treetops. Protect the environment from harm. This is just a typical day in the life of the Green Toys Fire Truck, the emergency vehicle made from recycled plastic. Recommended for ages 1 and up.
This Fire Truck is not your typical toy vehicle. Manufactured and assembled in the USA, it’s made from post consumer recycled plastic milk jugs (HDPE #2 plastic) that save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. With no external coatings, paints, or dyes, this super-safe, durable toy is good for the earth and safe and fun for little ones.
This bright red engine has a sturdy roof ladder that pivots vertically and rotates 360 degrees, with 'Green Toys Fire Dept.' emblazoned on each side. There are also two removable 8-rung side ladders that slide through brackets and snap in and out of place. The moulded details on the body of the truck include hatchets, compartments, dials, and 2 sets of steep steps up the back, along with a GTFD shield on each door.
Like all Green Toys products, the Fire Truck is manufactured in the USA with a tight, local supply chain that minimises transportation emissions and supports the domestic economy. Specifically designed without metal axles and also dishwasher safe, it's great for both indoor and outdoor play since it won't rust and is easy to clean!
From our recycled materials to our US-based manufacturing, we’re raising awareness about sustainability while delivering unquestionably safe products. We believe that the best way to encourage environmental change is through goods people buy and use every day - and in our case that’s children’s products.
We care about your kids - how they play, what they play with, and what the future holds. We are constantly exploring and innovating to deliver the best products possible for a playful planet for all.
Our products demonstrate that recycling can result in something tangible and meaningful – old can become new. Our toys are living proof that milk jugs, just like the ones in your refrigerator and recycling bin, can ultimately end up back in your playroom. This helps close the loop for kids because they can see their own environmental efforts in action.
