All of these items ship fully assembled to the end customer, which greatly reduces the overall in-home setup time. Assembly capability enables us to create a superior value when compared to our competitors due to the fact that items are shipped in component form from overseas and are assembled domestically versus shipping a pre-assembled unit from the overseas factory. We maintain an active inventory of parts, which allows them to react quickly to customer parts requests. We also have a comprehensive website that contains all of the set-up instructions for our products. White Finish

For any manufacturer, a quality White finish on solid wood is a complex and costly process. Discovery’s White is a 6-step finish that is top-coated with a mild sheen. Solid wood is required to ensure structural integrity and safety; however, utilizing MDF in non-structural areas of the furniture allows for a more consistent finish. Having developed a cost-effective quality White finish, Discovery’s White Collection is a true value. White remains a finicky finish for all manufacturers, Discovery included. Expect minor imperfections and understand that a perfect white finish on solid wood is not attainable.

Our Stair Stepper bunk bed not only provides a safer alternative to a traditional bunk bed ladder but also includes a built in four drawer chest. Our unique design allows the staircase to go on either side of the bed, allowing the customer to set up the bed whichever way works best for them.


Built-In Storage Room organization is made easier with the built in 4 drawer dresser located on the other side of the staircase. Giving you storage for clothing, toys, or other items.	Magazine Rack The storage rack is located on the inside of the stair section and is a great location to store books, tablets and other accessories.	Stair Section The pre-assembled stair section is a safer alternative to a ladder, and can be placed on either side of the bed.	Drawer Details All drawers feature European Roller Drawer Glides with a positive stop. These glides will provide silky smooth operation and the positive stop prevents the drawers from being pulled out and falling to the ground if pulled too hard. All drawer units ship fully assembled. Simply take the entire unit out of the box and slide it under the bed. The inside measurement of each drawer is 15" D x 18" W x 4 3/4" T.

An opaque white finish on solid wood can be finicky because solid pine wood is imperfect and white will expose imperfections to some degree. Pine has knots and a high resin content, which expands and contracts as all natural woods do. The solid wood used for the white finish furniture is carefully selected to make sure that the prevalence of knots is lower than with our standard stained finishes. With an opaque, white finish its expected to see discoloration in the finish where knots are located, as well as minor cracks here and there. Expect some minor touch up over time. To further stabilize the product, Discovery World Furniture uses MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) where they can in the non structural areas. MDF is the most stable material to use when painting white furniture. The overall appearance of the product is quite good and we successfully ship the product to happy customers daily. This makes Discovery World Furniture's white finish not a “solid wood” product, but in this case is a good thing!
