Faster, more powerful actionThe T-bar handle has a comfortable grip and quickly and positively locates into the captured pinion. Handy position arrow on the pinion references locking. The geared action is smooth and quick to both open (expand) and close (contract). Made from medium tensile carbon K145 steel to provide maximum holding power and structural strength. It is significantly harder than mild steel. It has the best mechanical properties and prevents bending and stretching. Nova Jaw Slides have self lubricating properties which ensures close accuracy and increases resistance to wear. |
Dovetail Profile Delivers Best Woodturning GripNova chucks have been especially designed so the jaws will cut into the wood, grip firmly in the contraction mode and provide high tear out strength. Some chucks use an engineering profile (designed to hold hard material like steel) or rounded profiles, which just crush the wood fibers without digging in and holding securely.
