Padding Density

GORE BIKE WEAR and Elastic Interface have combined efforts to improve the critical connection between cyclist and saddle. This collaboration uses anatomical and ergonomic findings which fulfil the special needs of cyclists regarding their riding style, sex, ride distance and intensity. A critical study on ride distance and intensity guarantees that the GORE BIKE WEAR seat padding offers the perfect measure of protection to enhance your comfort and performance.

Anti-Vibrations System

The Anti-Vibrations System (AVS) is based on a special lamination process in which foams of very high density are bound to a selected fabric. The Anti-Vibrations System disperses the force of weight horizontally, reducing unwanted indentations in the foam. As such a larger “remaining protection area” is created and the development of vibrations diminishes while you’re in the saddle.

Road bike position

On a road bike the angle of the riding position is sharper than the angle of the riding position on a mountain bike. The cyclist leans forward so that the pressure is increased on the narrowest area of the saddle.
