When air plants are about to bloom flowers, air plant leaves change colors from pink to red.
After flowering, watch for pups (baby plants) to start appearing on the base of your plant. When the pups grow larger, they can then be separated from the mother plant.

Air plant care is quite easy. Great for beginners in gardening!

Air Plants need water at least once a week by submerging in filtered water or rainwater for about 5-20 mins. Spray misting is beneficial in hot temperatures.
Place your plants in a bright location but not direct sunlight. Fluorescent/office lighting works well!
Fertilizer food is recommended once a month.

Unlike most plants, air plants feed through their leaves, not their roots.
