FABRICS WITH NILIT HEAT YARNS CONSERVE & MAINTAIN NATURAL BODY HEAT TO KEEP THE WEARER WARM. HOW IT WORKS IS SIMPLE:
- The human body emits heat which transfers outwards under cold weather conditions. Garments knitted with NILIT Heat delay this warmth loss.
- The specially composed coffee charcoal, together with an oxide additive integrated in the yarn, absorbs the body heat and captures it for an extended period of time
- The insulation activity is most effective when the fabric is used as a base-layer nearest to the body, allowing the complex structure of the coffee charcoal additive to capture body heat and keep it in the garment.

LAB TESTING
- Several tests were conducted in three global labs (TTRI - Taiwan, Centexbel - Belgium, and SGS - Switzerland).
- The tests were performed on NILIT HEAT yarn fabric with the coffee charcoal additive, and a reference fabric without the additive.
- Identical tests were performed on dyed and non-dyed fabrics.
The fabric knitted with NILIT Heat yarn, showed an increase of 10°C (50°F) to the reference fabric.
