Succulents are very delicate and do not enjoy heavy moisture in their soil. This mix is perfectly balanced to enrich the roots with nutrients while aerating the soil. Step 1 Fill your container 3/4 of the way full with Perfect Plants Succulent Soil leaving a small, crater-like hole for your plant. We recommend the crater is roughly twice the size of the roots of your succulent.	Step 2 Gently place your succulent in the hole, do not damage roots, Backfill remaining space in container with more Succulent Soil Try not to damage roots or petals as these are vital components to the success of your plant.	Step 3 Water with small watering can or spray bottle. Succulents prefer dryer environments and can go weeks indoors without needing water. You can also water by placing a few ice cubes in the soil and letting them melt.

For outdoor plants

Saturate the soil just once a week using a small watering can or spray bottle.

Water will drain very quickly from the soil of outdoor succulents. The direct sunlight quickens evaporation.

For indoor plants

Saturate the soil just once a month using a small watering can or spray bottle.

Water will stay in the soil for a longer period of time for indoor plants. The indirect sunlight from windows is beneficial but does not evaporate the water as quickly as direct sunlight.

Each batch is mixed fresh using a combination of organic peat moss, composted pine bark, perlite, and the proper amount of lime to adjust the ph. Our father started growing plants in 1980 and will be the first to tell you the right soil is the key to growing the best plants. Thats why we are here today to offer you our family's Succulent Soil Mix! We want you to have the best advantage to grow the highest quality plants.....from the start! Potting up your succulents using our Succulent Soil mix is easy. Just take your plants out of their current container. Be careful not to bust apart any of their fragile roots or break the plant's stem. Arrange the succulents how you see best in their new home, softly spread the soil around. Be careful not to bury the plants to deep. Gently press the soil around each plant, and water lightly when finished. Remember, Succulents are an easy to care for, drought tolerant, ornamental plant. Care: Give succulents the brightest light or sunniest window you can provide for at least 4-6 hours of sunlight per day. Watering: Feel the soil at least one inch down; if the soil is dry it is time to water the plant. Drain thoroughly. If not in a pot with drainage holes, drastically reduce water intake. Do not over water as this can be damaging the the succulents roots. Succulents cannot handle freezing temps.
