The Temperature Rating
We scientifically rate our sleeping bags so they match the European standard (EN 13537). Our scientific method has been implemented to easily determine the temperature limit of our sleeping bags.
• “COMFORT” temperature is based on a standard woman having a comfortable night’s sleep (neither cold nor warm).
• “LIMIT” temperature for standard men is the lowest temperature for a standard man to have a comfortable night’s sleep.
• “EXTREME” temperature is the lowest temperature before a health risk can occur for a standard women.
We have developed a grid containing three relevant temperature ratings for different size bag :
• “COMFORT” temperature :12°C/53°F for Regular(250g/m2), XXL, Double size And 6°C/42°F for Regular (300g/m2) and XL
• “LIMIT” temperature : 7°C/44°F for Regular(250g/m2), XXL, Double size And 1°C/33°F for Regular (300g/m2) and XL size
• “EXTREME” temperature : -3°C/26°F for Regular(250g/m2), XXL, Double size And -13°C/8.6°F for Regular (300g/m2) and XL size
