• Automatic Oil Dispensing System

The oil dispensing system will automatically turned on when the cutting head is pressed down. The greater the pressure, the faster the flow of oil to assist glass cutting. For beginners, it is difficult to control the strength and there would be a large amount of oil leakage. You can practice cutting without adding oil at the beginning, gently wipe the wheel with a cotton bud or small cloth dipped with oil, and then cut the glass. When the oil is insufficient, you could wipe more timese.

• Metal Ball Head

Gently tap the glass with it after cutting, and break the glass easily. The rubber gasket equipped prevents oil from leaking.

How to Cut

1. Unscrew the metal ball and add a few drops of oil into the handle, which will make cutting more fluent.(Step 1)
2. Measure with a ruler and make clear marks as you wish to cut with a mark pen. (Step 2)
3. Hold glass cutter firmly, keep the handle & glass at the angle of 40°-60° (Step 3)
4. Give some pressure and roll the cutter firmly along marked line. Then you will get a fine white shallow score line (Step 4) The well-scored glass is ready to be split.
5. Place the cutter under the score as step 5 showing.
6. Put your thumbs on each side of the cutting line, and press down to separate the glass along the score.

Other methods: The glass may also be split by lightly tapping along the scoring from the back side of the scoring. The ball on one end of the glass cutter is for tapping the glass.

You can also split the glass by with a running pliers tool.

Notes:

1. Need to be operated on a flat surface. It's better to try it a couple of times on a scrap piece of glass for practice.
2. Please wear clear safety glasses and protective gloves while cutting.
3. Cold glass is harder to work with. You are recommended to get your glass closer to room temperature, which makes it easier to work with.
4. Glass cutter can not be used to cut high hardness objects, such as tempered glass, marble and so on.
5. You must cut on the front side of a mirror.
6. Do not use this glass cutter directly on the window.
7. Oil is not included in package, which needs to be purchased separately by user.
8. You can ONLY get a FINE SCORE after cutting with the cutter (no matter what glass cutter you use), you need to split the glass with the pliers or refer to the instructions above.
