SPECTRA CORE - Industrial strength Spectra fibers are made of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE), 15 times stronger than steel and up to 40% stronger than Kevlar. UHMWPE fiber will also repel moisture and float on water, a perfect choice for boating, fishing, and other marine environments. Extremely low stretch, with less elasticity than both nylon and Dacron polyester.

The story behind SGT KNOTS begins with Mike Shelley. After serving in the Marine Corps, Mike started a simple website selling custom paracord keychains and bracelets. At the time, paracord was the military’s best kept secret.

Mike was shocked to discover how difficult it was to find paracord online, but even more shocked when his products began flying off the shelves faster than he could create them.
