Miracle-Gro Tree Spikes are inserted into the soil beneath your tree twice annually, in spring and early fall, for a continuous release of nutrients. Miracle-Gro also has tree spikes specially formulated for trees, shrubs, evergreens and fruit and citrus trees.

Prep Spike Place enclosed plastic cap on top of spike. If the ground is dry, wet before driving spikes.	Drive Spike Drive spike into the ground around tree or shrub following the drip line. Spikes should be at least 3 feet apart. For small trees and shrubs with drip line closer than 2 feet, insert spikes 2 feet away from center.	Drive Below Surface Remove plastic cap and save for future use. Continue to drive spike 2 inches below the soil surface.
