The Macedon is a mid-sized Swiss-made three-hand timepiece from Alexander's Heroic collection. This timepiece family is named for the ancient kingdom on the northern periphery of Classical Greece, which at one time was ruled by Emperor Alexander.
The caseband is satin-brushed on its flanks and juxtaposes with the high-polish finishing of the lugs' top and bottom surfaces. The same high-polish is displayed in the unique two-tier double-ringed bezel. The fluted crown offers generous dimensions for easy grip and sports the Alexander logo in relief.
The caseback is largely brushed with six distinctive screw-points for a beautifully balanced and recessed look. The center of the caseback features the Alexander logo in high relief with its graceful arrow-moon motif and polished ridged garland.
The central portion of the dial features concentric guilloche and an outer portion in a sand-blasted finish. This beautiful dial sits comfortably beneath the flat sapphire-crystal glass. The dial's cardinal points are affixed with hand-applied Roman numerals and the remaining hours with polished stick markers. The faceted and polished arrow hands are filled with SuperLuminova for low-light and night-time viewing. The Swiss Made hallmarking at 6 and Alexander logo at 12 complete the elegant dial design.
