Critter Concepts began in 2006, just a family of dog people. Our Critter Comfort “Anti-Itch” Shampoo was the result of one of our rescues, Sadie who had severe skin allergies. Going to the vet every other week for shots and expensive salves and pills made Sadie and us all crazy. It got so bad that Sadie refused to get into the car fearing another trip to the vet. There had to be a better solution. One of our friends, John worked for a large corporation, he was a holistic chemist that developed all-natural personal care products and John was a dog person. And after 30 different shampoo recipes that John crafted for Sadie, we found the perfect combination that was gentle and effective that we dubbed “Critter Comfort Anti-Itch” Dog Shampoo and Conditioner.
