Size Small: Recommended for ages 1 to 3. Fits head size range 16"-19"

Size Medium: Recommended for ages 4 to 9. Fits head size range 17"-21"

Size Large: Recommended for ages 10 to Adult. Fits head size range 20"-24"

The recommended age ranges are usually accurate but the most accurate way to select a size is to measure the head. Simply use a soft measuring tape and measure as the headband should be worn: From the hairline in the front/forehead, diagonally across the ears, around the hairline at the back of the neck, back up/across the ears, and around to the front hairline where you started. Then reference the size chart.
