Step 1: Turn off the tester,and open the battery cover.	Step 2: Immerse the meter into the water/solution, and the length of the immersed part should not exceed 4cm (Count from the tip of TDS Meter).	Step 3: Turn on and test it in the water, Gently stir the meter in the solution and wait until the reading stabilizes. After the reading stabilizes, it will auto lock the reading.

Precautions:

Do not drop the entire TDS meter into the water or dip beyond the maximum immersion level. This unit is not water-tight and if water enters the unit, it won’t be under the expiration period.
Do not store the TDS meter under high temperature or direct sunlight. It will shorten the life-span of the product and potentially void the expiration period.
Please avoid collisions, weight or fall.
If you need to test again, press CLEAR button to clear the reading and then press the MODE button to choose: TDS ppm, Conductivity us/cm, Celsius℃, and Fahrenheit ℉ for testing.
After using, wipe the water on the meter put on its protective cap.Press ON/OFF button for 3 seconds for manually shutdown.

Tips

Q：Why the tester shows zero and never changes？

A: This situation is because the chip is loose.don’t worry and just follow the step:

Step: Turn off the tester and open the battery cover，then press the battery in，check the chip is reset or not.If the chip in the right position, you can test it in the water.

Q:Why the temperature recordings not accurate?

A: The reading of TDS is affected by temperature, so the tester need the temperature compensation for the accurate reading.Here are some suggestions for you how to use it in the below picture.

Notes: To make sure the reading of this Digital TDS Tester Pen whether correct, It is best to buy pure water or distilled water to test, because the two waters have a fixed value of -0, But the pool/SPA water does not have a fixed value.
