RG260 Waterproof Flashlight

The RG260 by Olympia is a high-performance rugged flashlight designed for any situation. It uses a CREE XP-G LED to enable 260 lumens in high-brightness mode and is crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum with Type III hard-anodized, anti-abrasive finish. The textured body offers an anti-freeze non-slip grip. The RG260 is powered by two AA batteries, has five light settings including strobe and SOS for emergency situations, is waterproof to IPX-8 and impact resistant to 1.5 meters. It's 6" size and light weight makes it the perfect grab-n-go flashlight. Easy to find and easy to use it also perfect for emergency situations.

Lumens

A measurement of light that has been standardized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). It is used to rate the brightness of a light source. An ANSI lumen rating uses an average of several measurements taken across the face of the light source.

Runtime

Runtime is defined as the duration of time a flashlight will operate, using fresh batteries, until its output drops below 10%. It is measured for all three output settings.

Beam Range/Intensity

Beam Range is defined as the distance from the flashlight where luminescence (on high setting) is equivalent to a full moon on a clear night.

Beam Intensity is the maximum intensity along the central axis of a cone of light. It does not change with distance.

Waterproof

The Olympia Beacon flashlight is rated IPX6 waterproof. This means that it's tested to a standard of being protected against water sprayed from all directions with no harmful effects to performance. Olympia flashlights are also tested for impact resistance and can survive a fall of up to 1.5m.
