Our custom hitches provide a standard hitch receiver to mount a variety of towing accessories.	Vehicle-trailer wiring The next step in equipping your vehicle for towing is to add a trailer wiring harness. Like our hitches, CURT custom wiring is made vehicle-specific for each make and model. Virtually all of our custom vehicle-trailer wiring harnesses install using existing factory connectors on the vehicle for a plug-and-play connection. No splicing necessary!	Ball mounts With a custom trailer hitch receiver installed on your vehicle, a variety of ball mount options can be installed as needed. All of our breakaway kits are tested for your safety and meet DOT requirements for holding and breakaway situations. This replacement battery case for breakaway kits measures 5-7/8" wide, 5-3/8" high and 3-1/2" deep to fit a variety of breakaway batteries. It is constructed from durable polyethylene plastic to protect against the elements and features a special lockable metal bracket and bar to accept a padlock and greatly deter tampering and theft. The metal bracket also features mounting holes to allow this breakaway battery case to be conveniently mounted on your trailer. Nobody hitches up a trailer expecting a breakaway, but that doesn't mean you should tow unprepared. Be ready for anything with a CURT breakaway kit.
