Extracted from the best vanilla beans grown in Papantla, Mexico, the motherland of vanilla. Mexico’s environment and weather conditions allow vanilla to be pollinated and cultivated naturally, without the need of greenhouses, artificial pollination, or chemicals such as those used in other countries. Vanilla is a climbing orchid that grows wild under the shadow of citrus trees in Papantla, and these citrus trees provide a special aroma and flavor to our vanilla.

The aroma of our rich, creamy, pure vanilla extract is more potent and stronger than vanillas created elsewhere in the world, yet the flavor is indulgent, smooth, and pleasing to to the palate. Our real vanilla extract is coumarin free, gluten free, and Kosher certified. We include only the purest of ingredients in our extract. Genuine vanilla extract is required to contain 35% alcohol per the FDA, and a minimal amount of sugar is added to help distribute the vanilla, so that each drop remains consistent in the flavor. In lab tests, our extract are found to contains more vanillin than the competitor’s brands = richer flavor.

At Villa Vainilla, our family business uses an ancestral small-batch maceration process in which no heat or presses are used. This is the same way the Totonacs used to cultivate vanilla. This allows a higher concentration of vanilla particles.
