The tool setting device is mainly composed of a tool setting block and a feeler gauge to determine the relative position of the clamp to the cutter.
When setting the tool, move the tool to the tool setting block, place the feeler between the tool and the block, adjust the tool position, and continuously twitch the feeler gauge to control the distance between the tool and the block according to the feeling of the feeler moving. Till the tool is adjusted to a specified distance from the surface of the tool block.
If without the tool setting touch plate, just by observing them with our eyes, there may be misalignment and it is difficult to connect. Especially for stone engraving machines and metal engraving machines, due to the high hardness of the carved stones and metals, the block is more necessory.

Note:

1. Red wire conect to the controller card adjusting-tool signal.

2. Black wire connect to the G on controller card.

3. When you connect feeler block well, and start device (not the spindle motor), please use alligator clip click the surface of the feeler block, see if the Z axis will act or not. If no problem, and connect the spindle motor by alligator clip.
