STEEL TUBES: The drag link is 1 1/4\" ID steel that is cold rolled, pierced and drawn through dies to produce a 1/4\" wall thickness for industrial strength and durability. Not recommended for vehicles with over 4\" of lift or under 2\" of lift. Not compatible with smaller OEM steel wheels or wheels with deep backspacing.

Rugged Ridge heavy duty steering kits are a bolt-on solution for preventing bent tie rods from wheeling with larger tires. SAE 1018 steel that is cold rolled, pierced, and drawn through dies to produce a wall thickness. This is true DOM tubing with no seams or welds to fail. Heavy-duty rod ends feature standard tapered ends to fit stock knuckle applications. You get one ton strength without any modifications to your steering knuckles. These heavy duty crossover steering conversion kits replace the bump-steer prone inverted Y-type steering system. They connect the drag link to the end of the tie rod at the wheel, giving a better steering angle and better leverage. If your vehicle is lifted a crossover steering system is a must!
