Works for me. It can be formal and casual with jeans. Material: You may feel hot with this jacket if you live in hot summer area. But it works for me because we have pretty mild summer here and work at the office most of the weekday. After wash: I am not a laundry expert. I just put my clothing to the washer without special care. After washed the jacket twice, they look still same.
