Unlike metal augers, the X-Float auger will not scratch or ding your boat.

Perfect for Making PVC Sandbar Anchors

Ideally suited for sand, clay, mud or small stone lake or river bottoms. We recommend attaching the auger to a 4' to 5' piece of Schedule 40 PVC pipe. Simply drill a hole near the bottom of the PVC pipe, insert the auger into the PVC pipe and secure it using a standard 3/8" x 2-1/2" bolt and nut.

NOTE: PVC pipe, bolt and nut not included.

The auger is specifically designed to fit standard 1.5" schedule 40 PVC Pipe with an inner diameter of 1.57". Once attached to a pipe the auger can be twisted into sandy lake bottoms and will securely hold your boat in place. Place one at the front and back of your boat for added strength during windy days.
