What is MSE?
Micro Surface Enhancement (MSE) is a finishing process that improves the traditional camshaft lobe and load-bearing faces through a 65% reduction in surface peak roughness and provides a 250% improvement in the effective load bearing area.
Spreading the contact area between the roller and cam face allows much higher loads and lower localized stress.

We often get the question, "which HEMI cam do I need?" Well, that depends.
- If your engine is equipped with VVT, then look to our "201-" part number camshafts.
- 5.7L HEMI engines made from 2003-2008, generally were not equipped with Variable Valve Timing and use the "112-" part number cams.
- 5.7L HEMI's from 2009+ and 6.4L HEMI's from 2011+ were equipped with Variable Valve Timing and use the "201-" part number camshafts.
