How to Fill
Our brass cremation urns feature threaded lid closures. The lid should be turned counterclockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten just like you would a jar. Be careful not to cross-thread the lid - you should not have to force the lid to tighten. The initial opening may be a little stiff - if you are having difficulty getting a grip on the lid, wrap a soft cloth around the lid and then re-attempt opening. If using the entire ashes, please place bag containing ashes inside the urn then close lid. If using a portion of ashes, you may either pour directly into the urn until full or transfer the ashes into small bags and then place inside of the urn. If desired, the urn may be permanently sealed by applying super glue or other sealant to threads and then closing the lid.
