While working under the feet, the FLUIDFORM state-change process simultaneously generates a durable, supple and integral bond between the sole and its leather upper. Wrapped around the 3D anatomical last, the leather must be soft, supple and natural to continue the fit and feel benefits, and ensure 360-degree comfort-in-motion.

ECCO is not the only brand using direct injection techniques. But they have done it for a long time, pushing boundaries with it. Over the years, the approach to direct injection has evolved into the distinctive FLUIDFORM process being used today, using specialized, durable materials and anatomical engineering to create lightweight and flexible soles that cushion and absorb shock with every step. The upper is bonded seamlessly to the sole, without the need for glue or stitching
