The calibrated Mitutoyo 500-474CAL Absolute Solar Digimatic digital caliper is for measuring inside and outside diameter, depth, and step of items. This caliper has a measurement range of 0 to 6" (0 to 150mm), resolution of 0.0005" (0.01mm), and an accuracy of + or - 0.001". The LCD screen displays in inches and metric units. This unit has a thumb roller and Absolute electrostatic capacitance-type linear encoder for accurate measurements and a blade depth bar for measuring narrow grooves and recesses. It is powered by a solar cell that can be used continuously above 60 lux ambient illumination.
