About our Organic Tapioca Flour:

Tapioca is one of the purest forms of starch-based food, and has been used for eons in various regions throughout the world. Sometimes labelled as "Tapioca Starch", our Organic Tapioca Flour is derived from the Cassava root (Manihot esculenta) found in Thailand. As a grain-free flour, our finely ground Tapioca Flour is unmodified and perfect as a thickener for various baking applications.

Anthony's Tapioca Flour is Organic, Gluten-Free, Vegan and Kosher. Our Tapioca Flour is produced and processed under hygienic conditions, as it is not irradiated, or produced with genetically modified materials. The process of producing Tapioca Flour begins with the Manioc root, which is washed, diced, and grated. The starch is then extracted from the fiber with water and slowly dried in a spray dryer. The dried starch is then sifted and packaged in the very bag you receive.

Gluten-free
Our Organic Tapioca Flour is Gluten-Free, which makes it a great substitute for gluten and grain-filled flours and thickeners.

Great for baking
Tapioca flour can add some great rising power and fluffiness to the batters of gluten-free baked goods. The texture of tapioca also helps gluten-free breads and other goods to have a slightly elastic texture, even without gluten.

Chocolate Crisp Cereal

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup Anthony's Coconut Oil
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 3 tablespoons Anthony's Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 cup Anthony's Brown Rice Flour
  • 1/4 cup Anthony's Tapioca Flour
  • 1/4 cup Anthony's Coconut Flour
  • Pinch salt
Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit and grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the coconut oil and brown sugar.
  3. Add the egg whites and mix well.
  4. Add cocoa and stir until well mixed.
  5. Add brown rice flour, tapioca flour, and coconut four; stir well.
  6. Add and salt and mix.
  7. Form dough into small spheres a bit smaller than a blueberry and place on prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Cool and enjoy.

Prep time: 30 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Yield: 5 servings

Lemon Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients:
Cake:

  • 5 eggs
  • 1/3 cup Anthony's Coconut Oil, melted
  • 1/3 cup Anthony's Coconut Sugar
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Anthony's Coconut Flour
  • 1 cup Anthony's Brown Rice Flour
  • 1/2 cup Anthony's Tapioca Starch
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/3 teaspoon baking soda

Topping:

  • 1/2 cup coconut cream
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1-1/2 cups sliced strawberries

Instructions:
Cake:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit and grease a 9" round cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the eggs, oil, coconut sugar, maple syrup, and lemon juice.
  3. Add the coconut flour, brown rice flour, tapioca starch, salt, and baking soda. Mix well.
  4. Transfer to the prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes.
  6. Cool.

Topping:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip together the coconut cream, maple syrup, and lemon juice.
  2. Spread on top of cake.
  3. Top with strawberries.

Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
Yield: 8 servings

Red Velvet Brownies

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup Anthony’s Cocoa Powder
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup Anthony's Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Anthony’s Organic Beet Juice Powder
  • ½ cup Anthony’s Tapioca Starch
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F and grease an 8”x8” glass baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, cocoa, egg, and coconut oil; mix well.
  3. Add the beet powder, tapioca starch, baking soda, salt, and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Transfer to baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Cool, cut, and enjoy.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Yield: 9 servings
