NO MAGNET (Just the Tins) -- Our non-magnetic tins can be used to organize your spices, bulk food, junk drawer, office supplies, etc on a shelf or in a drawer. But they can also be used magnetically! Non-magnetic tins will stick to any magnetic surface that has the proper magnetic strength. Versa-Tin sourced 60 mil Adhesive-backed Flexible Magnetic Strip, Sheets and Rounds able to hold all sizes of Versa-Tin tins. Versa-Tin also offers a 30 mil Double-sided Magnetic Sheet (which sticks to any surface that attracts magnets). Due to the lesser strength, only 4 oz. and 6 oz. tins are recommended for use with the Double-sided Magnetic Sheet. This magnet will stick to any metal surface that attracts magnets, for example our Versa-Boards, many refrigerators, many stoves, galvanized steel, etc. Another interesting idea (used by a couple of customers)--a wall that has been treated with a sufficient amount of "magnetic paint".
WITH PEEL 'N' STICK MAGNETS -- Before we began having our factory partner putting magnets on the bottom of the tins, we offered Peel 'n' Stick Magnets. Any Versa-Tin tin with Peel 'n' Stick Magnets (applied by you) to the bottom of the tins, works exactly the same as the factory-installed Magnet on the Bottom tins. But with the Peel 'n' Stick Magnets, you have the option of adhering the magnets to a non-porous surface, such as the inside of your kitchen cabinet, on a framed sheet of hardboard, on the side of your refrigerator, on your smooth tiled wall, for example. This creates a "home" for each individual tin.
