This Boston Gear LHSSE8 self-aligning spherical bearing is used for applications using linkages for accommodating up to 20 degrees of misalignment under heavy radial or thrust loads. It has heat-treated SAE 52100 steel-plated balls for resistance to corrosion and wear and a 410 stainless steel housing for resistance to corrosion. It has a self-lubricating polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) liner and a lubrication groove on the outer diameter to increase durability and efficiency. It has a .5" bore for connecting a shaft. This self-aligning rod end has an ultimate static radial load of 13,600 lb.
